Ok, here's some stats: Social video generates 1200% more shares than text and image content combined. Viewers Retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video, compared to 10% when reading it in a text. Including video on landing pages can increase conversion rates by 80%. By 2020, online videos will make up more than 80% of all consumer internet traffic.
Video is the future, here’s how we applied that knowledge to Max Car Care.
Nick, owner of Max Car Care came to us with a fairly standard brief;
“I’ve taken my marketing as far as I can, we’re expanding as a business, how can you bring more clients to me?”
Nick joined us in the office, we dissected his offerings, established his goals, how he sources leads, how customers actually find him. His company benefitted from great customer satisfaction for the services provided, our task was not to simply get him in front of more people, but to get him in front of relevant people, as seamlessly as possible. Together we formed a bespoke digital strategy.
The current web site was outdated, restricting the company with google placements and befouling visitors with a negative, clumsy experience – losing business opposed to generating it. Rather than have us ‘tidy up’ or refresh his website, Nick tasked us with a bold, radical rethink, a new platform developed from scratch, and centred around a promotional video; future proofing.
Core to the Max’ brand is trust, clients are putting their prized vehicles at the hands of a stranger wielding machines, with this in mind we story boarded an interview style video which allowed Nick to put across his background, share why he does what he does, and what makes his services industry leading – he’s enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated – this is the guy who will turn up to your house – he comes across exceptionally well, quashing any hesitations one might have in booking, building confidence.
Combining a personable business owner with examples of exceptional work, visual depictions of the processes involved and detailing industry accreditations, we were able to push a consistent message of ‘trust’ across all digital platforms, harnessing the strength of Facebook recommendations and Instagram engagement; core supporting features to our ideology of a solid ‘consumer to business relationship’.
With a short film concluded, and a website built to showcase it, we developed the social campaign. Targeting brand relevant consumers through keyworded and location-based audiences, liaising directly with Nick and adjusting parameters based on feedback to ensure the highest quality of engagement and lead generation.
Going forward, Nick is out in the field, sharing the story of each job, we’re in the office, driving new business to his inbox.
